1 - 5 Intro do the Sprecatos: Definitely describes Marco - the way he dresses, his career, the detail in the home that he designed, hand crafted; him singing around the house in perfect pitch, his Italian machismo at the breakfast table, his love for his children.
3 - 1 Why is He Leaving?: The awkwardness of a man leaving his family. The smell of the cologne, his shirt, his presence still there but destined to fade.
4 - 3 Call from Zurich: Marco's concern for his brother and his desparation over Luigi's addiction and involvement with the Mafia.
4 - 7 2nd Call from Zurich & 8 Visions: Marco's anger towards the Mafia.
4 - 9 Wish You Were Here: Marco left in a vulnerable situation kind of alone, but with Stef at least.

Character Description:

Macho, intelligent, meticulous, caring, crafty, remorseful, father, loves his 2 sons, get things done, workaholic, Italian machismo, very close to Andrea.

Physical Description:

Attractive, clean, beard, dark brown, mid-length wavy brown hair, 5'10", in good shape, manly, brown eyes.

Wears: Dresses fashionably, with consideration to match, details in the buttons on his shirts, collared, button down shirts, cufflinks with engraved initials, was known for creating daring living spaces, he wanted his wardrobe to express this. Hand made Italian jackets, seasonal colors, Italian loafers, trousers himmed in.

Mannerisms: Macho, overly confident, thinking with his eyes, smiling confidently.

Posture/Gait: Pushy, barrelled chest.

Speech: Bold, fairly loud.

Circumstances: Marco is an architect, has an archetectural company. He moves from Palermo to San Sidro, Milan because he can't get anywhere in Sicily. Heavy mafia influence, some of his ancestors & close relatives are Mafioso. Marries Francesca in the mid-70's. Gets divorced in '89, moves to Seattle to extend his biz out. Ends up marrying the woman he was cheating on his wife with. He feels it's harmless but doesn't realize how much damage has been done until it's too late. Gets killed by the Mafia in Seattle in '99.
